dean & deluca napa valley
cabernet sauvignon by larkin 2008Our 2007 vintage of this offering was such a success that we again joined in partnership with Sean Larkin of Larkin Wine to create another Cab that reveals more in the bottle than its respective price would suggest. Meant to be enjoyed at an earlier age than Larkin's own offerings, this '08 finishes with lush notes of full-bodied blue and black Napa Valley fruit. Open about an hour before drinking and you too will get on board with our proprietary Cabernet!#DND08LK3 | $40dean & deluca
chardonnay by fisher 2008We recently shared a few bottles of this 56-case production with a few DEAN & DELUCA wine friends in Austin, Texas, and enjoyed watching as they were stunned by how great this Chard tasted. When we told them the price, they ordered it by the case. Like our other Proprietary offerings, this '08 Chard from Fisher Vineyards in Sonoma is a blend of estate fruit. Smooth, with a little buttery toast that is balanced by acidity, this one, in our opinion, could not have come out any better. And our Austin friends agree.#DND08FI3 | $38our top picks for autumn imbibing, perfect for pairing with the richer, more complex dishes of the season.debiase fritschenvineyard pinot noir 2009Although his is a new label on the Pinot scene, vintner and winemaker Thomas DeBiase is no stranger to the Pinot vine. His work with Kosta Browne, Holdredge Wines and August West gave him a Pinot bug that he clearly doesn't plan to shake anytime soon. His single-vineyard site sits approximately 500 feet from Eastside Road in the Russian River Valley and overlooks the single vineyards of Williams Selyem. This is the most Burgundian-style Pinot we've tasted in a while and is destined to have the ability to age longer than many other RRV Pinots. #DEB09FV3 | $55straight line pinot noir 2009If you're looking for a great Pinot that can be enjoyed now, this is one to try. Vintner and winemaker Jon Grant first introduced us to his Straight Line label a few years ago when he debuted his Tempranillo and Syrah. This '09 Pinot comes from four key vineyards in Mendocino County including Londer and Oppenlander Vineyards. Medium-bodied with notes of black cherry, this 660-case production offers balance and lush Pinot characteristics in the glass.#STR09PN3 | $31harvestpairings12 don't forget dean & deluca gift cards |
