Specialty ServicesStandard Mat OpeningsDocumounts offers the option of rectangular and oval openings at no extra charge. Oval or circle openings cannot be ordered online. Please contact customer service to place an order for oval or circular openings. Specialty Cuts Unique matboard openings such as Arch, Step and Radius are assessed at a one time $10 set-up fee regardless of the total mats ordered. All custom opening mats are then priced according to the size and volume for the applicable matboard. If you are in need of a V-groove or Reverse Bevel cut, please call Customer Service for pricing. Multi-opening MatsYou must fax or e-mail a diagram of any multi-opening mat you want to have produced. Please make sure all dimensions, including window sizes, mat borders and space between windows, are noted. For multi-opening mats a $10 set-up fee is added to the original price of the matboard along with a fee per opening. The chart below shows the fee per opening for identical mats. If your multi-opening mat requires design modification or calculation by Customer Service, an additonal fee of $20.00 per hour (in 15 minute increments of $5.00) will be applied.
