(missing Shila) Designer Stencils® 2503 Silverside Road Wilmington, DE 19810 1-800-822-7836 Visit us at: designerstencils.com or culinarystencils.com Clockwise from top: 1) With our scraper or offset spatula, spread royal icing (on fondant) or thinned out buttercreme through stencil directly on the cake side or top, then lift carefully. Make sure surface is not sticky or the stencil will pull off your icing! 2) Sprinkle herbs/fine grains on work surface. Lay stencil on top, then roll proofed dough over stencil and herbs will come through the stencil openings and stick to dough. Bake as usual. 3) Spread melted chocolate over stencil onto hard chocolate surface. Make sure the chocolate you are spreading is not too hot or it will melt your chocolate base. 4) Easy does it! Just sprinkle powdered sugar through the stencil onto cake top. Try this with spices/powdered chocolate on a pumpkin pie - do it in the morning so the powder has all day to seep down and become a rich dark brown. 5) Cookies can be so fun to decorate! These cookies are decorated before baking. Roll out your dough, cut pattern and put on cookie sheet. Lay the stencil on top of the cookie, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and rub with a brush or palm of your hand to work the sugar into the cookie. When you bake, it turns a dark, carmelized brown. Colored cookies are decorated by brushing on powered food colors before baking. Try these two techniques with pie dough to jazz up the tops of your pies! 6) (middle) Brush melted colored cocoa butter on chocolate or fondant base. Custom Orders Are Our Specialty!
